Anchor Alarm was started in 1989 in the San Francisco Bay Area by its founder Steven Griffiths. The company grew and prospered based on the outstanding service and dedication to perfection in designing and installing alarm systems. The name Anchor Alarm became synonymous with quality among homeowners, business owners and contractors throughout the Bay Area..

While the Bay Area was a fine place for an alarm business, Steve and family wanted to get away from the traffic and crowds. They relocated the business to to the beautiful Sierra Foothills.
